Health and Safety Plan

The Beaverton Farmers Market is open from 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM, until further notice.

We have changed the market layout to accommodate both driving and pedestrian traffic. We do this in order to maintain a comfortable social distance between people and to offer those that need to minimize exposure an alternative way to shop at the market.

Here are a few tips to help you navigate the market:

  • The vehicle entrance for the market is on 3rd Street.

  • Pedestrians are always welcome.

  • We have moved the Market Information booth to the beginning of the drive through route so you can purchase tokens with your SNAP, credit or debit card before you get into the main part of the market.

  • Please be mindful that there will be both vehicular traffic and foot traffic happening at the same time. Cars will make purchases from one side of vendors’ booths, pedestrians on the other side.

  • Do not park in front of a vendor’s booth, get out of your car and wander around. We need to try to keep traffic moving.

  • There is no need to come right at 10:00. Our vendors won’t run out of things and traffic will be lighter in the afternoon

We have endeavored to take extra measures to ensure safety and cleanliness in the market. Those include:

  • Vendors have been given new instructions to ensure cleanliness and safety

  • Sampling has been removed

  • Prepared food must be taken to go. There will be no cafe tables or chairs in the market to reduce congregating

  • Increased hand washing and hand sanitizer stations in the market

  • Volunteers, staff, and vendors will continue to sanitize and disinfect all high touch surfaces including credit card machines, token box, ATM, info booth, etc.

This is unprecedented and is only successful if we can all work together. We ask that you follow the following guidelines to help keep the market safe and running smoothly:

  • Please drive slowly and follow marked signs. Follow any directions from volunteers and market staff. They are there to ensure safety and separation for pedestrian traffic and keep the flow running timely

  • If you have any symptoms or believe you may have been exposed please stay home.

  • If possible, send only one member of your household to shop at the market.

  • We ask that you not touch anything unless you intend to purchase. If you do touch something you may be asked to buy it

  • Talk to your neighbors and consider sending one shopper for more than one household

  • Vendors will take their normal form of payments. If you would like to reduce using cash you can purchase tokens from the Info Booth

  • Please keep a safe distance (at least 6 feet) between you and other people

  • Please wash and/or sanitize your hands often

  • After completing your purchases please do not linger in the market

How to Preorder to Minimize Market Time:

Please sign up for our weekly newsletter, which includes the vendor roster for that week’s market. The vendors that have contact info are hyperlinked in the newsletter. Please contact them directly to make an order and they will have it ready when you arrive.

A well-thought-out and practical safety plan. It’s great to see how the market adapted with measures like social distancing, sanitation, and even drive-through options to keep the community safe while still supporting local vendors.flappy dunk

What I like most about Drive Mad is how it mixes simple controls with challenging level design. It looks casual at first, but some stages really require patience and precision to complete.

Thank you for the meaningful support offered through Gruha Lakshmi Yojana and Janani Suraksha Yojana. Women receive recognition, financial backing, and healthcare encouragement that positively transforms daily living conditions. Safe motherhood and economic empowerment together create lasting social benefits. Such programs demonstrate how focused welfare measures can uplift vulnerable families while promoting dignity and self-reliance.
